We turned plastic frames into wooden ones by painting them with acrylic paints.
On the frames for the vegetables, we put two layers of different colors. First we painted them with a rolled cloth (to give them a solid layer of paint). Then, to make wooden lines, we used balding brush that has less than half the hair left.
On the frame for the doll we made only one layer, using the cloth.
